Michalle Faulkner, knows people. In fact she bases her business on it!
A highly sought-after HR consultant and expert in human resources, Michalle believes; “invest in your people, increase your profit” and her new book The People Investment does just that – it is the ultimate source for businesses to work out the key to hiring and firing and getting the most out of your team!
Born in Sydney, Michalle, has lived in Caloundra ever since she was a young child so certainly can claim the title of ‘local’ to the Sunshine Coast area and business community.
Michalle’s extensive background in administration and general sales roles held her in good stead to lead into her now self-confessed passion – a career working with people through Human Resource Consulting and Management. Michalle successfully opened her own consulting business – Essentials 4 Business Pty Ltd in 2005 and in 2010, merged with the EastCoast Human Resource Group, a premier provider of Recruitment Services. The organisation now boasts providing a full complement of Human Capital Services to a large and vast clientele – Australia wide.
Michalle’s expertise as a general practitioner has seen her work with organisations that employ in excess of 500 employees as effortlessly as she provides support and adapts her style to suit small, medium and start up business operators. Her practical approach is refreshing and produces results for clients that are tangible and focused on gaining the maximum return on their investment in their teams and their human resource systems.
Being a highly sought-after consultant, she recognised a need for business operators to gain support and insight into practical solutions around people management and in doing so, has penned her first book – “The People Investment”.
Michalle is content in her most valued role as wife to husband Wes and Mum to Jordan, Brady and Madison. She balances her entrepreneurial nature with a love of community and regularly supports and provides mentoring to other business women through her professional roles within the Sunshine Coast Business Women’s Network.

Facilitator of the Sunshine Coast Business Women Network’s Mentoring Program in 2007 and 2008 and Mentor in 2009, 2010, 2011,. Mentor in the Program’s Leadership Development Program 2012.
